Intentional Actions

3Cs framework to rebuild a relationship

 1.  Consistent communication

Consistently contacting your loved one is essential to show your commitment. Be careful of the frequency and the depth of the message. Keep it light and short, to begin with.

2. Caring intention

Clearly state that you intend to rebuild the relationship when they are ready.

Let them know there is no rush.

3. Calm energy

It is highly likely when trying to rebuild the relationship that you will be subject to judgement.

Be prepared for this and address it with a calm, non-reactive energy.

There is no winning in relationships, only collaborating.

Character challenge

Trust

Trust is the cornerstone of a relationship. First, develop trust in yourself by practising self-compassion. Understand that we are all human and make mistakes.
