So many of us struggle to stay focused on what truly matters and to have the skill of emotional regulation. 

I find this subject fascinating as it's one area I continuously work on. I know my next level will only come from a more precise intention and improved focus.

4 Don'ts To Keep The Main Thing The Main Thing

1. Don't overfill your schedule

Expect the unexpected by leaving space in your weekly schedule. 

2. Don't react to every emotion

Emotions are automatic biochemical reactions; feelings are intentional. Learn to surf the urge by delaying your response. This is the highest value skill - to choose your response in any given situation. Start practising it now. 

3. Don't rely on conscious memory

Thinking drains your energy and focus. Automate the "main thing" with visual cues. 

4. Don't break your word

I'd love to say this way easy, but it is not. Use social accountability to help you keep your word and focus on the main thing.
